Tuscaloosa News previews TSO’s Home for the Holidays, a community-forward celebration that brings together the Alabama Choir School, UA choirs (Treble, University Chorale, TTBB), and Tuscaloosa County High School singers for a wall of sound in Moody Concert Hall. The program mixes crowd-pleasers—“Nutcracker” excerpts, Handel’s “Hallelujah”, “Sleigh Ride,” “Carol of the Bells,” a Hanukkah overture—and closes with Gary Fry’s “A World of Joy,” alongside a hall-wide singalong. Executive Director Natassia Perrine frames the night as part of TSO’s education mission: welcoming first-timers, putting students onstage, and making orchestral music feel like home.
