Ken,

Thank you for taking the time to write a letter. I can see why the Newport Symphony is so fond of Adam. I can also tell you that Adam speaks very highly of the Newport Symphony Board, musicians and even the landscape (wine included)!

One of the great things about "sharing" a Music Director is the ability to also share ideas between organizations. We already know you have excellent taste in Music Directors and believe we can mutually benefit a deeper collaboration. TSO looks forward to many years with Adam and as a result, alongside the NSO.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth McGuire
Executive Director

As a Board Member and musician of the Newport Symphony, of which Adam is the Music Director, I heartily congratulate the TSO on its choice. Adam has raised our level of performance considerably and done it with diplomacy and complete support of the Orchestra, the Board and the audience. His programming has been outstanding, bringing a wonderful mix of standards and new music to the Oregon Coast. You're in for a era of excellence!
